Ultegra is nice stuff. Mine has all of that. I see you went for a double like I did. Sometimes I wish I had gotten a triple for the tougher climbs but I always make it through.

yeah - a third gear up front would be nice - but with 10 in the back for 20 total it's got a decent range...

I went for this bike mostly because it's a cyclocross bike - which means it's a bit tougher than your average road bike (though a few pounds heavier) - plus it has the extra brake levers near the stem - which are nice.

HERE is the link to Performance where I got it (lists specs and stuff)... it was supposed to be $990 after the 10% off sale but when they rang me up it came up at the better sale price that they had a week ago ($899)

you just bought it because it says butt on it.

When I test drove this bike at my performance I was going up stairs on it. I was really impressed at how capable it is with terrain other than pavement.

I just realized it does not have the flight deck. Good choice, I thought that crap was a waste of money. I have a Cateye on mine, I think I will always have them.

I didn't even know about the computer thing 'till your post. I like the shifter-integrated buttons and that it displays which gear you're in - but I saw a review saying that the gear display isn't very reliable.

I'll probably just slap another $10 Schwinn wired computer on it from Wal Mart... that's all I really need.
